Acuid

Acuid is a provider of industry leading Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), specifically designed for high speed memory technologies such as the latest generation of DRAM standards, DDR2 and DDR3. However the test platform architecture is very versatile and can be used for many other high speed test requirements, not only associated with memories. During the development of the ATE products, Acuid made several discoveries that enable error free component-to-component communication at wire speeds well in excess of 10 Gigabits per second. Known as EagleEye™ Acuid’s patented technology significantly boosts performance by eliminating inherent bottlenecks and enabling order of magnitude improvements in intra- and inter-system data rates. Acuid was founded in 1996 with company head quarters in Edinburgh, Scotland.
