Megabyte wasn't sure if he
understood the true meaning of all the words he was reading.
Editor's comments:- when crafting the image to be used for Megabyte's
Storage Dictionary, in 2000, I was playing with several ideas.
- Our tag-line "leading the way to the new storage frontier"
- conveying the idea of someone getting lost
- wordplay between "Fibre
Channel" (a genuine storage term) and (the spoof) "Flipper
Channel."
In the image you see here on the left,
Megabyte (the mouse)
is being guided to his destination by helpful
Flipper (dolphins).
