ECI, headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, has been a third-party technical support provider since 1994, working with leading consumer electronics manufacturers and software companies. In 2000, ECI expanded to include help desk services for Internet Service Providers. ECI’s primary technical support center is located in Manning, a West Central Iowa community. The 20,000 square foot facility was built in 2000 as a cooperative effort between ECI and the city of Manning. The center, operating 24 hours/day with 125 ‘seats’, has brought high-technology employment to the community. In addition to providing end-user support, ECI develops CD/DVD writing software applications, including tvCD Digital Slide Show creator and The Engine SDK.
