Elipsan was established as an independent entity in March 2003 through the spin-off of the IPSAN division of Eurologic Systems Group Limited (established in 1988) a leading worldwide provider of high performance networked data storage systems to the OEM and indirect channel markets Elipsan was established to deliver on the promise of self-healing, easy to use, flexible storage systems using standard IP and iSCSI based protocols. Building on over a decades experience in bringing leading edge storage solutions to market, Elipsan focuses on the management and usability of IPSAN. By leveraging IP technology a greater share of the market will be able to share SAN features and benefits such as simplified task driven system management while utilizing their existing infrastructures and skill base.
