M-Systems Fast Flash Disk 3.5"
Ultra320 SCSI

M-Systems' Fast Flash Disk (FFD) is a state-of-the-art Solid-State Ultra320 SCSI Disk based on Flash technology. The FFD 3.5" Ultra320 SCSI is fully compatible with the SCSI-2 and SCSI-3 interfaces and therefore with existing systems.

Due to its unique design the FFD 3.5" Ultra320 SCSI eliminates seek time, latency and other electro-mechanical delays inherent in conventional disk drives.

The FFD 3.5" Ultra320 SCSI is a high capacity Flash Disk and currently available in capacities ranging from 1Gbyte up to 176GBytes.

Designed for systems that require highly reliable data storage operating under harsh environmental conditions, it is a perfect solution for Military and airborne systems, Optimized for time-critical Video & Audio servers, telecommunication systems, High Availability computing systems and factory automation systems.

The FFD 3.5" Ultra320 SCSI continues M-Systems' superior performance with 320.0 MBytes/sec burst R/W rate, 40.0 MByte/sec Sustained Read rate & 40.0 Mbytes/sec Sustained Write rate.

  • throughput:- 320.0 Mbytes/sec Burst R/W rate, 40.0 Mbytes/sec Sustained Read rate, 40.0 Mbytes/sec Sustained Write rate
  • access time:- Less than 20 µsec
  • flash endurance:- >5,000,000 write/erase cycles. Unlimited read
  • operating temperature:- Commercial 0°C - +70°C. Enhanced -25°C - +75°C. Extended -40°C - +85°C
  • shock:- Operating & Non - operating Half Sine, 50G, 11ms; Half Sine, 1,500G, 0.5ms Per MIL-STD-810F
