Renesas's memory
overview
Among other things Renesas provides memory components and
controllers for the industrial and embedded markets. Renesas doesn't have a
standard SSD product line - although in the past it did dabble in the USB flash
market. However it looks like the company has done design work aimed at
customizing flash for the auto market.
At the ISSCC in 2016 a Renesas
paper is - "A 90nm Embedded 1T-MONOS Flash Macro for Automotive
Applications with 0.07mJ/8kB Rewrite Energy and Endurance over 100 million
