mentions of solid state storage on its web site whatsoever. Instead - the
company appears to be looking at using
cloud storage
technology to help scale its existing NAS line of
SnapServers.
That looks like a good idea - if it actually works.

had forgotten that back at tail end of the
tape library dominance
period - in early 2002 - Overland had been an advertiser on this site. They
ran a bunch of ads. This one (above) has the clearest message looking back
from today's perspective.
