In July 2007 - SiliconSystems launched the first high reliability USB SSD in the CF form factor.

SiliconSystems was an advertiser here on - and the product details on the right relate to that period.

SiliconSystems was acquired by WD in March 2009.

WD maintained and extended this product line for about 3 years thereafter.

WD end of lifed these industrial SSDs with a final purchase date around November 2013.
