Memories Inc., located in Taoyuan County, Taiwan, was founded in 2002 as a 50:50
joint venture partnership by Nanya
Technology Corporation and
Infineon Technologies AG.
Inotera will focus on the production of DRAM products based on advanced trench
technology. Processing of wafers started in April 2004. This collaboration
combines the expertise of Nanya Technologies in mass production and efficient
cost reduction capability with Infineon¡¦s world-class technology in

far as I know - upto
2015 -
Inotera never entered the
SSD market - which
is why I stopped writing about it for 10 years. Therefore Inotera was a pure
play memory company (RAM) at the time
Micron announced in
December 2015 it
wanted to acquire all its assets .
...Later:- in
June 2016 - the
market heard that the acquisition had been put on ice.
