Editor:- October 29, 2015 - TCS was the
first company (I noticed) to publish a
DWPD rating for a
military grade, rugged, industrial flash SSD.
DWPD had until then
been exclusively used as an
endurance
based shortlisting filter for enterprise SSDs. This new trend is discussed in

Encryption can be defeated
in a short period of time by brute force methods and also by master keys being
stolen. These are unacceptable risks in war time - which is why various
methods of fast purge have been developed for use in SSDs. |
