and storage systems. Patriot's flash products include removable flash cards and
universal serial flash drives designed for personal computers, digital cameras,

Patriot
Memory sells its products through original equipment manufacturers, retailers,
e-tailers and distributors. It has operations in North America, Asia and Europe.
Patriot Memory's parent company, PDP Systems, Inc., was founded in 1985 and is

Patriot Memory
launched its
Torqx line of SATA
compatible 2.5"
flash SSDs with 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities. The new models include 64MB
of DRAM cache and deliver upto up to 260MB/s read, 180MB/s write speeds. OS
support includes:- WindowsXP, Vista, Linux, and Mac OS X.

In December 2010
- Patriot Memory
launched
a single chip native USB 3
flash drive - which offers faster performance than other designs which use
include a USB bridge chip.
In March 2013 - Patriot's SSD
product line still looks thin and me-too.
A report in myce.com
speculated that Patriot may phase out its own SSD products.
That
could be due to a problem which is symptomatic for many
consumer SSD
companies. Although the SSD market is large and growing - most SSD companies
don't have any worthwhile SSD
IP, and many consumer companies aren't doing anything different to 100
plus other SSD competitors.
