M-Systems' Fast Flash Disk (FFD) is a state-of-the-art
Solid-State Ultra Wide SCSI Disk based on Flash technology. The 3.5" Ultra
Wide SCSI FFD is fully compatible with the SCSI-2 and SCSI-3 interfaces and
therefore with existing systems. The 3.5" Ultra Wide SCSI FFD eliminates
seek time, latency and other electro-mechanical delays inherent in conventional
disk drives.
Designed for systems that require highly reliable data storage
operating under harsh environmental conditions, it is a perfect solution for
Military and airborne systems, Optimized for time-critical Video & Audio
servers, telecommunication systems, High Availability computing systems and
factory automation systems.
The 3.5" Ultra Wide SCSI FFD's outstanding performance is based
on M-Systems' state-of-the-art TrueFFS® technology which provides very high
read and write transfer rates, enhanced endurance and maximum data integrity.
