Macrotron Systems is a complete-service electronics assembly and test
specialist, focusing on memory products. Operations are headquartered in
Fremont, California with offices located worldwide. Macrotron has a competitive
advantage in the electronics manufacturing service marketplace through its
ability to provide all manufacturing, processes and services required by the OEM
customer from its Silicon Valley facility.

The
company's SSD website started in April 2011.
Recently (September 2012)
I asked Macrotron's VP of business development - Mark Hayfield - if he
could tell me more about the company because I said - "Currently I can
find very little to differentiate your company from over 100 other 2.5"
SSD oems."
Mark Hayfield said - "For over 25-years, Macrotron
has helped industry leading companies build their award winning brands. We are
principally an OEM/ODM
manufacturer."
Editor's comments:- That means Macrotron's
products have been mostly built to specs supplied by their customers - and
Macrotron hasn't invested much in developing its own brand identity to a
wider market. I'm guessing that that is changing. |
